Stress Relief for the Sagittarius

Lately, I’ve been very engrossed in astrological signs. Well, I’ve always been interested in signs and I’ve set out to do an EFT tapping video for each astrological sign. I’m focusing on helping each sign learn to manage their stress, start to love themselves, and tap into relaxation. Today I posted a video for Sagittarius:


Sagittarius sign is ruled by Jupiter, which typically brings you good luck and good fortune…though there is no telling when this will kick in! I’ve had several Sagittarius friends and they were easy going, lots of fun, and fairly lucky. Sagittarius is known as the eternal optimist, even during difficult times you can keep positive.
With your adventurous nature, you can be a bit of a dare devil. This can also relate to being ruled by Jupiter. The Sagittarius sign has a yearning to learn and explore the world. You tend to philosophize, wondering what the meaning of life is. It is truly amazing when you’re able to do something with your gifts. You easily bring people together with your acceptance of others and your ability to connect ideas and people together.
Sagittarius is a true free spirit and cannot be caged in. You may appear to have one foot out the door at any time, ready to set out on a new adventure. You’re upbeat and full of energy and at your best when you keep active. You’re amazing because you always tell the truth, but you must remember to have a sense of diplomacy and share your words with care.

How to Stop Sugar Cravings

I recently posted a video on how to stop sugar cravings. The thing about sugar is that it fuels your brain cells. Our brains crave sugar and see it as a reward, which makes you want it even more! When you continue to eat sugar and then eat a little more sugar you’re reinforcing this idea of it being a reward. I notice a jump in my sugar cravings whenever I feel overwhelmed or stressed. My go to food…or I should say non-food is chocolate! It is possible to retrain yourself by choosing healthier options when the craving hits. Instead of reaching for a chocolate bar I’m learning to eat kiwi or bananas. Adding more vegetables and water to your diet will make a huge difference in cravings. Also a major factor to minimize in your life is your level of stress.

Stress is the main cause of weight gain. Stress starts in the amygdala, whenever this part of our brain senses stress (which it see as danger), it starts initiating our body’s stress response. That “fight or flight” response becomes activated and begins to over produce cortisol. Extra cortisol allows us to run away from the impeding danger, or to have enough energy to stay and fight. Too much cortisol in your system leads to increased appetite and a bigger belly. Your body produces cortisol each time you feel angry, or afraid, or guilty. This is why it’s so important to let go of your stress and built up emotions. The best way I’ve found is through EFT therapy aka tapping. How to Love Yourself and Lose Weight

Today I posted a video on how to love yourself and lose weight. I’ve worked with multiple women and men asking assistance in losing weight and understanding the best way to keep extra weight off. They would tell me stories of extreme weight loss, crazy diet plans, and fat burning foods they gorged themselves on. A few weeks ago a family member came to me anxious over looking good at a friend’s wedding. She started to show me this weight loss calculation app on her smart phone. While telling me all the things she was “fixing” in her diet, she began to cry. I sat her down, gave her some tissues and a glass of water, and I listened. She told me about all the stress and anxiety she felt inside her body and in her heart, saying she wanted something more than “this” pointing to her stomach.

I wished very much to help her let go of her feelings of anger and discouragement. I gave her a long hug and asked her if she’d like to do some EFT with me. Initially she hesitated, I explained to her tapping will help her to release frustration, fear, and it will amplify her self-love. I told her that the added stress she’s putting on herself will not help her lose any weight. I explained to her the ability to love herself with “an extra 20 lbs” will help to alleviate her stress, it will bring balance and peace within, and it will allow her to relax enough to let go of any excess weight. After about 20 minutes of tapping she had stopped crying, she told me she felt more hopeful, and she had a beautiful smile on her face.
